Privacy and Protection of Personal Data

Our platform ("Jeebna", "We") gives the utmost care to the privacy rights of its members and visitors ("User", "You") and to the protection of their personal data. This policy has been prepared in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("PDPL") in order to transparently explain for what purposes the data you share while using our marketplace platform is processed, how it is stored and with whom it is shared.

1. Personal Data We Collect

In order to provide our services flawlessly, the following data is processed on our platform:

• Identity and Contact Information: Your first name, last name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number.

• Customer Transaction Information: The products you purchase, your cart history, your messages with stores, your search history and your coupon usage details.

• Transaction Security Data: Your IP address, browser type, your login/logout logs to the site and your password management data.

• Financial Information: Payments are currently accepted only via cash on delivery; you pay when your order is delivered. Your credit or debit card information is never collected, processed or stored on our servers.

2. Purposes of Data Processing

Your personal data is processed in accordance with legal legislation for the following purposes:

• Creating, invoicing and preparing your orders by our relevant Seller partners,

• Carrying out shipping and logistics processes to deliver the products safely to your address,

• Managing cancellation, return and exchange requests and following up customer service processes,

• Ensuring system security and preventing fraudulent transactions,

• Delivering discounts, campaigns and newsletter notifications that may interest you, provided that you give your consent.

3. Sharing of Personal Data with Third Parties

Jeebna is a marketplace platform. In order for your orders to be completed, your data is shared only with our business partners on a limited basis:

• Seller Stores: In order for the product you purchase to be packaged, invoiced and shipped to the correct address, your first name, last name, address and phone information is shared with the relevant independent seller.

• Shipping Companies: In order for your package to be delivered, your contact and logistics information is transferred to the contracted shipping companies.

• Legal Authorities: In the event of an official request from judicial or administrative authorities (court, police, etc.) as required by legislation, sharing may be made in accordance with our legal obligations.

4. Use of Cookies

"Cookies" are used on our site to optimize your browsing experience, to remember your cart and to keep your session open securely. You can disable cookie management through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may prevent some dynamic functions on the platform (cart synchronization, member login, etc.) from working.

5. Data Security and Retention Period

Your data is protected by industrial firewalls and 256-bit SSL encryption methods in order to prevent unauthorized access, leaks or losses. Data that is legally required to be retained (invoice records, etc.) is stored for the periods stipulated by the relevant laws; when commercial and legal obligations end, it is securely destroyed or anonymized.

6. Your Rights Under the PDPL

Pursuant to the Law, by applying to our platform you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to request its correction if it is incomplete/incorrect, and to request its complete deletion from our systems (right to be forgotten).
